When you walk into a grocery store, there will usually be an aisle full of fresh bread. The smell is almost mouthwatering and was always my favorite part of going shopping. Id walk around nibbling the end a baguette as I just couldnt resist. Then the diagnosis came. The bread was, of course, an absolute no-go. But that doesnt mean there arent options available! Even in the two years since my diagnosis, the bread options for us have come on in leaps and bounds. Today were going to be taking a look at whether Walmart sells gluten-free bread, and if so what gluten-free bread brands at Walmart are available.

Similar to cakes from Costco and Whole Foods, Walmarts cakes and cupcakes arrive at the store already baked. After receiving a shipment, Walmart freezes their cakes and takes them out of the freezer to decorate as needed.
While Walmarts sheet cakes come from Pillsbury, their round cakes come from Best Brands in Minnesota. In other words, if you liked Pillsburys boxed cake mix, chances are youll like Walmart cakes.
If you have allergies, contact your local bakery department with any questions because Walmarts pre-baked cakes contain milk, coconut, eggs, wheat, and soy.
They are not suitable for anyone vegan or vegetarian. Some Walmart cakes may also contain peanuts and other dairy products.
Gluten Free Bread At Walmart:
Walmart carries several types of gluten free bread. Udi’s, Canyon Bakehouse,, Schar, Great Value, and more! Canyon Bakehouse, Schar, and Great Value will be found on the shelves and Udi’s is in their frozen section.

Can You Freeze Cake
Yes, you can! Its really easy to freeze cakes. Once your cakes are completely cool, wrap the cakes with plastic wrap , wrap again with aluminum foil, and then place in a freezer bag.
The cake can be frozen for up to 3 months. You can defrost the wrapped cake at room temperature for 2-3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. I have found that it is better to thaw the cake at a slower rate in the refrigerator.

Walmarts cakes are available in multiple sizes: round cake, sheet cake, and cupcake . While a full sheet cake will cost you $43 before customization, a single-layer 8 round cake costs $7.50, and a 12-count cupcake cake costs $10.

Now that we live in Washington the Walmart is so much better and it is also a Super Walmart. It is still not my favorite place but some of the selection and prices can not be beat.I wanted to use this post to show you what I think is worth purchasing at your Walmart .
So Walmarts GF selection is pretty decent and they have GF items in other isles as well. I have noticed in the last 7 months that I have lived here that the GF selection is getting larger and a lot of items that I really enjoy are starting to be carried. This is so refreshing because when I first got here I was having a really difficult time finding the things that we enjoy.
They also carry things like Coconut Flour, GF AP Flour, Chia Seeds Flax Seed, Organic Dairy and Organic Fruit and Veggies. The dairy is priced fairly but the produce is really over priced when you compare it to Trader Joes, Costco or even the Farmers Market. However, when I am in a pinch and I dont want to run all over the place it is incredibly convenient to be able to pick up everything on my list and do household shopping at the same time.
Does Walmart Make Wedding Cakes

Generally speaking, I find the frosting is too sweet, but the cake itself is moist and tasty. As an added bonus, Walmart’s cakes are very affordable. Just like pretty much everything else at Walmart. So if you aren’t looking for anything fancy, and just want inexpensive cake, Walmart is probably a good option.
