We had a wonderful first dining experience here at Wally’s. We were greeted by the owner, Tammy, who made us feel at home and was super sweet & upbeat. We learned that they are also part of the Lee’s Summit Chamber which is always a plus. We ordered the house made chicken noodle soup & Wally’s House Salad and they were both absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to come back for more of this great food & customer service!

Owner, Chris Wollerman is a longtime Lees Summit resident, growing up in the Lakewood community. He also practically grew up in the restaurant business. He started at age 15 busing tables and eventually became a managing partner with a well-known Kansas City restaurant group. After opening and managing several upscale-casual restaurants in Kansas City, then moving into corporate food-service. Chris decided to leave the industry and venture into real estate and construction, but his desire to open his own restaurant never waned. So when Chris and his wife Tammy had the opportunity to open a restaurant close to their home in Southwest Lees Summit, they knew this was the perfect opportunity for their family. I feel really bad that they’re store is so small, they’re bundt cakes are delicious and they’re always super busy. I love the decorations and hope maybe they’ll figure out how to make the lobby easier to manage so they can get more business flowing through because they’re absolutely worth the wait. They have a flavor for pretty much everyone. Nothing really bad to say about then since lobby size isn’t really their fault, the quality of service & food is top notch.
So the other day my mother in law shared a slice of the best lemon cake I have ever had. So obviously me being pregnant I had to get more where it came from! I stopped by this morning to grab a dozen bundtinis ? oh they smell so good the store was super clean and chic. Lots of little gifts to browse while you wait for your treats! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL!
Yesterday my Daughter and I had went into the store for Cake topper and was so delighted that they sold us the Poppy topper for a personal cake. We did purchase the two Red Velvet Bunt minis and I topped them with Umbrellas this was a sweet idea we also loved the look and surprise of these sparkling candles which made for lots of exciting laughs. Good experience overall will be back in for a quick gift shop experience in the future cards etc.

Fantastic cakes! Ive ordered from them twice and both cakes were amazing. The white chocolate raspberry is my favorite flavor. I recently got a cake for my wedding anniversary and the store happened to have a limited flavor of raspberry lemon, which is so close to what my wedding cake flavor was! That was also a very good flavor.The cakes are perfectly moist and taste so good. Highly recommend trying some!

Hands down the best bundt cake Ive ever had, it tasted super fresh, using real ingredients!! I had the white chocolate raspberry one and wow was it good! The icing was delicious it wasnt just cheap icing you buy, and the cake itself was super moist too!! Great service to add onto that as well
