The mixing method for this cake is the reverse creaming method. I used this method in some of my other cakes.
You might be used to the regular creaming method, but I promise this is not hard to do and frankly I find it easier. Youll use less bowls for sure.
This method will get you a softer textured cake. And dont worry, I explain the process in the actual recipe.

How To Make Homemade Strawberry Cake
This recipe is very simple. Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl.
Then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix JUST until combined. Do not overmix the batter!
Toss the strawberries in a little bit of flour before adding them to the batter. This will help the strawberries not sink to the bottom of the cake.
This cake takes about an hour to bake. Watch it closely. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.

This Strawberry Cake is inspired by farm-fresh, hand-picked strawberries. Every time I take the kids berry picking, I think to myself, I could totally do this. I could farm Its hard work, but peaceful and gratifying.
