Today Im going to review the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Black/Gray.

Being a glasses-wearer eyebrow powder has become an essential for me ever since I saw a video on makeup tips for glasses-wearers with Bobbi Brown . According to Bobbi Brown, when you wear glasses its important to define your eyebrows in order to really call attention to your eyes. All I know is that it simply looks prettier.

Bobbi Brown says that powders are far easier than pencils, which I completely agree with. I despise eyebrow pencils I can never get my eyebrows to look natural with them. I get thick, dark lines in the middle of my eyebrows, very unattractive. Think Groucho Marx, but scarier and on a woman.

Eyebrow powders on the other hand are super easy to use. You can blend them in to your preference and layer it on for a dramatic look. Powders can make your brows look thicker or sharper without being overly artificial.

This eyebrow powder comes with two different colors, Black and Gray, and a wax to hold your eyebrows in place. Theyve also included an angled brush for applying the powder and a spoolie for brushing brows into place.

There is no gray in this at all….its brown….not gray as described in comments and description

Despite the description as Black/gray……it is not. It is brown. As a white haired vibrant young senior……this just looks stupid with my white hair as I no longer have brown hair. You are underserving the older market. You are not alone……I am finding this issue with similar products from other vendors. As I am a winter……I really need a gray….the black is too dark and the brown is just not appropriate for my coloring. Unknown quality as I cant use it.

My Experience With Nyx Eyebrow Cake Powder

I am sure every one of you has experienced this at least once in life, when that Parlour waali aunty messed up with the brow shape and made it either too thin or shaped both of them differently. I had faced it almost every time I changed place or that aunty got replaced with a new one but not any more. I have taken the things in my hands and doing eyebrows myself . Earlier, I used to consider myself incompetent to use the brow grooming products but since I have started doing them on my own, why not groom them with the right products for a tidy, shapely look.

First of all, I would like to tell that I have dark black brow hair and prefer thick brow shapes. I wouldnt have required the brow filler at all if they had been in a good shape but mistakes are bound to happen. Recommendation:- NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder is a fabulous product and does a great job at enhancing the shapes of my eyebrows. Dark Brown/Brown shade powder looks much natural than any of the pencils and I find it easy to control the intensity of the color while shading the brow area. Use the wax to comb and tame those unruly stiff hair and follow with slanted tip brush carrying the brow powder to do the filling and shaping brows in the desired manner.

The staying power again is commendable as it lasts whole day on me without smudging and minimal fading. The Dark brown compliments my skin tone really well and I am sure it will work with most of the medium-fair/medium-dark skin tones. It is available in such a wide range of shades that will easily accommodate almost every skin color.

Nicely shaped brows can make a significant difference to your appearance and enhances the overall look. I am glad I gave this kit a try, which is going to last me forever. Highly Recommended!
