The owner was very kind and attentive to what others might think is a silly request! She took the time to check in with me and even made lots of suggestions! I know its hard to resist this Hello Kitty Ice Cream Cake.

For some of you, youre squealing the word kawaii in your head or out loud and youre halfway out the door with your Hello Kitty purse hanging from your arm and your Hello Kitty tattoo thats in a location that only the tattoo artist who put it there and your bathroom mirror knows.

But before you rush out that door and spend your hard earned money on this ice cream cake, I want you to ask yourself WWHKD.

What Would Hello Kitty Do?

I know what Hello Kitty would do. She would not put this ice cream cake anywhere near her mouth because1) she doesnt have a frickin mouth and 2) its not very kawaii.

I mean, look at it. Those dead eyes. The bow that looks like a baboons butt. And that colorful crap around it.

The confetti sprinkles on the cakes edges make it look like it was downwind from an office worker opening a paper hole puncher used only for colored paper in front of a fan. Not only do those colorful sprinkles make it look like Hello Kitty has a beard made from wet clown wigs, they also have a texture that I would describe as waterlogged cardboard thats been dried out. They add a deadening texture to the exterior of the cake and they taste like the cheaper version of the sticks that come with Fun Dip. Stale store brand Fruity Pebbles would be an upgrade over these.

Vivians birthday just passed by!

So we went out for her birthday. Before that, though, since Claudia and I got off school earlier we went around Sinchon to find her a cake.

Vivian really likes Hello Kitty. We looked at Baskin Robbins, A Twosome Place, and Paris Baguette.. but no Hello Kitty cakes. The other cakes DID look quite nice, though we had basically decided that we were going to buy her a cake from A Twosome Place.

And then I suggested to go inside Naatur Pop

and we found Hello Kitty!

I think I used the most Korean here that Ive used in the past 3 weeks. But we got our cake and everything was okay. We even managed to surprise Vivian with the cake after her KLI class

And we went out to eat meat for dinner. I thought that Korean BBQ would be expensive, since meat in Korea is really expensive but it was less expensive than I imagined. Wait until I find an all-you-can-eat place.

Then when we came back, we ate the cake . Then, Vivian and Stef revealed the surprise theyd been hiding for 2 weeks

which was building the tiny Lego figurines. But what was special was that we each got the figurine that was on our KakaoTalk T-Money card! So I got the peach. Apeach! We had a building competition.

Im not really sure what Im trying to say here, but I think here are the main points:

1.I dont really like to go out and party that much, which really sucks because of Koreas drinking and partying culture
