Prepare 1 package of Pillsbury Moist Supreme Yellow Premium Cake Mix according to the directions, and bake in a 13×9-inch pan. Allow cake to cool completely, then crumble into a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed to create fine crumbs, about 2 minutes. Add ¾ cup Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Vanilla Flavored Frosting, and beat until evenly blended. Cover and freeze for 30 minutes. Roll cake mixture into 1 ½-inch balls, and place on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Cover and freeze for at least an hour. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 5 cups white chocolate chips with ½ stick of Crisco until completely smooth. Drop cake balls into the chocolate mixture, lifting each bite with a fork to allow excess chocolate to drip off. Dust balls with sprinkles and chill for 5 minutes or until the coating is set.

Using a 13×9-inch pan, bake 1 package devils food cake mix according to directions, and let cool for an hour. Poke holes all over the cake, about 2 inches apart. Pour 1 cup refrigerated Irish creme non-dairy creamer over the cake, cover, and refrigerate for one hour. In a large bowl, mix 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix and 3 ½ cups milk. Let stand until soft-set, about 2 minutes, then cut the cake into 1 ½ inch cubes. In a 3-qt. trifle or glass bowl, layer a third of each of the following: cake cubes, pudding mixture, 1 cup whipped topping , and 4 chopped Andes candies . Repeat the layers twice, and refrigerate until serving.

- 9×13 Pan – A classic cake is another option. Grab your 9×13 for baking up a delicious cake for birthday parties and more.
- Bundt cake – Just adjust the cooking time to fit the thickness of the cake. It will take a bit longer to bake but will be delicious.

Also, the over baking issue. Baking a chocolate cake, or cupcake for that matter, is bit more challenging because the color makes it more difficult to judge doneness. Setting your timer for the earliest baking time is key. And then using the spring back method to test for doneness is essential.
Spring back method is lightly pressing the top of the bake and seeing if it springs right back. A completed bake will bounce right back while something that needs a little time will hold the indentation from you pressure.
Also checking to see if the sides have pulled away from your pan is very important. The bottom line is you will need these methods to check for doneness because visually, you wont be able to tell.
So take your time with this. Making a moist chocolate cake requires a little more attention than other cakes. You go from done to dried out in a hot minute, so set that timer, and stick close to your oven.
If you havent jumped on the layer cake wagon yet, now is a great time to start! They are a little extra effort, but so worthwhile. If you are blessed with some extra time to experiment with your baking right now, then I encourage you try making layer cakes. There is a lot of satisfaction in slicing into a perfectly frosted, piped, decorated layer cake. It does require a few special tools and a little extra patience and time, but its so worthwhile.

- unsweetened cocoa powder – This ingredient is what puts the chocolate back into this chocolate cake recipe.
