Review Nyx Butter Gloss In Angel Food Cake
Hello everyone and welcome to another review! Today well be reviewing this gorgeous butter gloss by NYX! Im really excited to try this liquid lipstick out because its the first that Ive ever owned! Ive also heard many great reviews on the product so this is very exciting for me!

NYX claims that this product is: soft like butter not sticky gives a sheer to medium coverage
On the package it says Butter me up with divine gloss that feels like it melts on lips and also has the ingredients listed on the side. On the bottom of the product youll also find the shade name and number.
The first thing I did when I opened this was smell it and it smells sweet but not overpowering. The smell also fades away once applied to the lips.
The wand is just the right size to spread the product all over the lips. The tip is also slightly slanted for precision.
When I first swatched this, holy crap, it was so smooth and buttery! As you can see in the picture, its in-between sheer to medium coverage and very buildable.

This gildes on so nice and easy! I had some dry skin on my lip but you can barely tell in the photo! This gloss just goes right over it and conceals it completely which is absolutely amazing!

My Experience With Nyx Angel Food Cake Intense Butter Gloss:
I have heard a lot about these lip glosses and it was about time that I bought one or in this case I bought two shades to get started.
Packaging: The gloss comes in a skinny and long tube, like a normal diameter test tube. The packaging is color-coded and has a doe foot applicator attached to it. I like the packaging and it is easy to carry around. Also, the applicator picks up the right amount of the product in one go and covers the lips well.
Texture: It is very creamy and smooth to apply but not too thick or tacky. It has a pretty creamy shine and is not too overpowering. So, it would not steal focus off other features.
Color: This one is a soft pink shade which appears more like a baby pink with cool undertones. But, it still appears pretty on my face. Also, it does not have a frosty finish.
Pigmentation: These lip glosses dont have good pigmentation nor is it the part of their job description, so I wont complain much. I wear a dark color lip liner underneath and then use this shade to get even toned and glossy lips.
Shimmer and shine: It has a creamy shine which is not what I really like in most cases. But, I love the finish of these products and they do not contain any tacky glitter particles.
Fragrance: The product has a strong and artificial food fragrance which is a bit too strong for my liking. The smell is a little overpowering on the first go but it dies down eventually.
