Fortunately, Carvel left the brewing to the professionals: while it provided all of the Fudgie dessert components, the actual beer-making was contracted out to Westchesters Captain Lawrence.

The brewery in Elmsford is also the only location where you can purchase four-packs of beer.

A special Fudgies Fathers Day Float for $8 is available to those who make the trip to the island.

If you grew up a Carvel kid, you are forever a Carvel kid. If not, it’s time to get on board. The ice cream spot makes the best milkshakes, soft serve cones, and ice cream cakes out there-and now, their beloved Fudgie the Whale cake is becoming a pint. Even better, said pint can be delivered straight to your door-but only for the next week or so.

Let’s start with the ice cream, though. For the first time ever, Carvel’s two most famous characters-Fudgie the Whale and Cookie Puss-are available in pint version. Cookie Puss comes with two layers of chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a layer of Carvels signature Crunchies in the middle and a crumbled chocolate chip cookie on top.

This ice-cream cake is a simple recipe that only requires you to stack and freeze the ingredients. Its also beneficial to have some basic plumbing skills. Ingredients 6 large Oreo cookies
6 large chocolate wafers
8 cups vanilla ice cream
3 cups hot fudge
8 cups chocolate ice cream

Instructions

Prepare a 9-inch spring form pan by chilling it for 15 minutes before using it. Also, remove the vanilla ice cream from the refrigerator and let it to soften for 10-15 minutes before using.

Prepare the pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray and lining it with parchment paper. Make sure that the parchment sheet protrudes from the top of the pan by 2-3 inches

the vanilla ice-cream should have a soft-serve texture when finished. As a result, whisk it for a few seconds before spreading it out evenly over the prepared pan to make the base layer. Placing it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes or until it becomes solid is recommended.

Remove the lid from the fudge container and microwave it until it has a thick, runny consistency, about 30 seconds. Pour 212 cups of the fudge sauce over the vanilla ice cream that has been allowed to set.

Crush the Oreo cookies and wafers in a food processor to get the chocolate crispy before adding them to the chocolate. Sprinkle about two-thirds of the prepared crumb on top of the fudge until it is completely coated, pressing lightly to ensure that it stays in place. Place the pan back in the freezer until the layers have firmed up again.
