Yes, Cold Stone and Marble Slab are, as the name suggests, extremely similar. I’ve been to a Marble Slab in Dallas, and they have Cold Stone here in California.

I have been comparing Carvel to Dairy Queen and I find that Carvel has a better tasting ice cream. The smooth texture of their ice cream is so much more delicious. Their prices tend to be a little high but I guess you really get what you pay for in quality. They also have very good French fries at this place.
