- Here you do not know whether it is a boy or girl, so pick, blue and pink as they universally represent boy and girl.
- Make a three-tier diaper cake and cover each tier completely with satin cloth giving the illusion of fondant.
- You can either alternately cover the tiers in pink and blue satin cloth, or cover half of each tier with the two colors.
- Cut out thin stripes of blue, pink and white paper and curl them using a spoon, stick these in a bunch at the top of each tier.
- Place a shimmering blue and pink ribbon on top of the last tier. You can also use tiny Mickey and Minnie mouse soft toys.
- Cut Mickey and Minnie faces out of a black paper, write Pink or Blue and stick them on the center of the cake.

Diaper Cake Without Rolling Diapers
Some prefer the look of the modern diaper cake without having to roll up the diapers. While both styles look lovely this one seems little faster to make and the new mom does not have to unroll all the diapers either :).
The downside is that you will need cake pans to make this cake. But if you already have a collection of various size cake pans then it is no big deal.

How To Make A Mini Diaper Cake
All you need is 7-9 diapers for each cake.
Add Pampers Diapers To The Base Of The Stroller

Roll the open end of each diaper inward until each roll is nice and tight. Wrap a rubber band around the diaper roll to hold it in place.

Slide each rolled diaper under the elastic on the box. Keep at it until the entire circumference of the bottom box is surrounded by diapers.

To form the canopy of the stroller, wrap another band of elastic around the vertical box. Slip this elastic band underneath the other band. Hot glue the ends, and set it aside to dry.

As you did before, roll and secure more diapers across the top and sides of the vertical box, stopping at the intersection with the lower box.

The elastic from the top box will be protruding on both sides. Hide it by tucking the elastic in between the vertical diapers on the lower box.
