WOW! What a great cake! My wife ordered this ahead for a party. We do not live near here. We were in Bham for a concert and had a party at home the next day. Glad she ordered it. I picked up some mini cakes from Nothing bundt Cakes at The Shops at Grand River and they were delicious. I had the red velvet and it was really good. My daughter had the chocolate and she said that hers was good as well. I can’t wait to go back and try some other flavors.

Bundt cakes — the round ones with the holes — are the specialty at a new business in the Valley Bend at Jones Farm shopping center at 2710 Carl T. Jones Drive in south Huntsville .
Nothing Bundt Cakes — get it? — sells cakes in four sizes, 10 flavors and 40 fancy custom designs like silk flowers or flags.
The signature topping consists of thick, drapey ropes of butter/cream cheese frosting called petals.
Flavors are red velvet, chocolate/chocolate chip, white chocolate raspberry, lemon, marble, pecan praline, carrot, white/white chocolate, cinnamon swirl and a flavor of the month.
Sizes are: 8 inch , 10 inch , small cakes called bundtlets and bite-sized bundtinis sold by the dozen for $16.50.

Local restaurant mogul Kumar Patel was visiting with his family when he kept passing a Nothing Bundt Cakes location. His family bought four bundtlets and basically fell in love, he said. Its not like a cupcake where it becomes hard as a rock in a day or two, he said. Their then-10-year old ate it for days, he said.
Instead of just bringing back a cake, Patel brought a franchise for the first one in Alabama.

I have a lot of friends who had sworn by other bakeries in Birmingham for their birthdays and corporate gifts, etc. before they opened in The Summit. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s in a less congested area of The Summit , making parking a breeze. My cousin had a “surprise” wedding in Birmingham back in February and had one of their tiered cakes with a bunch of mini-bundts around it and people were fighting over them. Great concept!
