Nothing Bundt Love For New Bakery

Lydia McAllister Tweet It Pin It

Theres a new bakery in town serving up delicious morsels in west Little Rock. A small, beloved chain, Nothing Bundt Cakes specializes in just that bundt cakes. But theyre not your grandmothers bundt cakes.

Founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz joined forces in 1997 to help make cakes to entertain their friends and family. The cakes they made were a hit. They quickly noticed there was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn’t compromise on ingredients.

Now with bakeries all over the country, the Little Rock location officially opened to the public this week. Visitors will find bundt cakes in various sizes as well as single-serving bundtlets and cupcake-like bundtinis with signature frosting or drizzled for those wanting a lighter frosting option.

To celebrate the occasion, Nothing Bundt Cakes has set up the grand opening week to benefit Arkansas Childrens Hospital. Stop in for a sweet treat through July 30 and 20 percent of your purchase will go to ACH.

Visit Nothing Bundt Cakes at 12312 Chenal Parkway, open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Reviews For Nothing Bundt Cakes

Nothing Bundt Cakes

Yummy, yummy yummy for my tummy. The cakes are so moist. They always seem to have a new flavor to taste. They also have big cakes that serve several people that are moist and delicious. It is hard to go in and get just one of the miniature cakes. You will come out with more than one.

I love Nothing Bunt Cakes so much. They have an incredibly welcoming and helpful staff and their cakes are consistently delicious. I cant pick my favorite. Maybe its the lemon…maybe its the white chocolate raspberry..but its always hard to go wrong with chocolate…so many good choices!

Popular Bakery Chain Specializing In Cakes Plans First Arkansas Store

Returning to her Arkansas roots, a Texas transplant will soon pack her belongings and set up shop in The Natural State, opening the first Nothing Bundt Cakes in the states capital city.

Little Rock native Stacy Lindsey, who moved to Texas about 15 years ago, currently works for one of the chains stores in a suburb of Dallas.

Lindsey said she will leave behind the Texas operation, though she will continue working with a Dallas-based business partner Craig Moore for the Little Rock project.

“There is such a huge fan base. I’ve received a lot of emails,” she said of the chain entering the central Arkansas market.

The 2,400-square-foot shop will be one of the larger bundt cake shops affiliated with the chain based in Addison, Texas, she said. A tentative opening has been set for the first or second week of June.

Nothing Bundt Cake is just that: a shop that offers nothing but bundt cakes. But the selection goes beyond the traditional bundt cake that cake eaters have come to know, Lindsey said.

Located at 12312 Chenal Parkway, Suite 2, Nothing Bundt Cakes will also offer “bundtinis,” bite-sized cakes sold by the dozen, as well as single-serve “bundtlet” cakes.

Cake flavors include red velvet, lemon, marble, carrot, pecan praline, cinnamon swirl and chocolate chocolate chip, according to the Nothing Bundt Cakes website.

They are some of the best cakes that Ive tasted in my life. They are that good, Lindsey said, adding that its not your average bakery.
