How Did Bake Me A Wish Begin
Back in 2004, a man who had just moved to Manhattan, New York wanted to send his mom a birthday cake. She lived in another state, so he couldnt personally deliver it.
He didnt want to send her just any birthday cake but a tiramisu birthday cake.
He called all the bakeries in New York City and asked if they would be able to bake and mail a tiramisu cake to his mom.but not one of them would!
Its understandable its a hassle shipping a cake by yourself. Not only does the cake have to arrive in excellent condition, but it has to be shipped fast so it doesnt spoil and arrives fresh. Its not really something you can easily organize on your own.
You would need to find a box thats the right size to hold the cake, find and buy some dry ice cold packs to keep it from melting and then put that into a shipping box and finally use UPS or FedEx to ship the whole thing fast overnight.
Oh and it has to arrive just before or on their birthday too!

I worked with Bake Me A Wish several years ago, and the cakes I received were scrumptious! So I was excited to be able to work with them again for Easter.
I was sent their 12-pack of mini Easter cupcakes. They come with six chocolate cupcakes and six vanilla cupcakes covered in Easter bunnies, ducks and jimmies. Oh, and then there are the jellybeans on top! What an EGGcellent Easter Gift Idea!
