I had my eye on these tightline cake liners for awhile and had been thinking about picking up the black one the last time I was at Sephora. But then I saw the other colors and wanted them too, but individually they were $22.00 each. Then I saw they had a special deal where you could get all three in a palette and a full size Full Blown Volume Mascara and cool double-ended liner brush, so thats what I decided to get!
The regular individual sized ones come in the shades Black Ebony, Blue Marine and Mahogany Brown. In this kit we have Black Ebony, Violet Asphalt and Mahogany Brown. The Violet Asphalt shade is a special trend shade not available in full size.
Also something to note is that the individual ones are 0.5 oz and the ones in this set are smaller at 0.4 oz each.

So first off what is tightlining? Its when you apply a color to the very base of your eyelashes in that tiny little white space. Filling in that area makes your lash line appear thicker and is a great way to make your eyes really stand out. You can use a gel liner, pencil liner or shadow. Really whatever you want.
You can use these either dry or wet. I prefer wet because its easier for me to use and makes the color deeper and easier to control. The square brush is perfect for this!
