Placed an online order the site requested that I come during my specified pickup window to reduce the number of people in the store because of Covid. When I got there my order wasnt ready and they requested that I wait outside since Ididnt have a mask. My order was 15 minutes late. Make a stink about being on time and then not have it ready? This could have been avoided if they were on time like they asked me to be. I also wouldnt be writing this review if I wouldnt have had to wait outside for 15 minutes, in the heat, on my lunch break. It is always fun to pick one of these up. It is a treat in our house. I was a little disappointed in the Red velvet. I have several favorites being the lemon, confetti, and of course the white chocolate raspberry.
We were traveling in the area & asked our hotel for a recommendation to get a birthday cake for our friend who we were traveling with. Hands down the best red velvet Ive ever had! Absolutely delicious! Thanks so much!

Couple Opens A Nothing Bundt Cake Franchise In Clifton Park Their Second Shop
It was love at first bite for Nothing Bundt Cake franchise owners Matt and Melissa Gleason.
My husbands family lives in Baton Rouge, La., and they all raved about the Nothing Bundt Cakes there, said Melissa Gleason. His mom sent us a white chocolate raspberry cake and that was all it took. The cake was amazing.
She said it was after trying the mini-cakes a few years back that she started thinking of how she could bring it into the area.
The first one was in Albany in 2017. The two opened a second location of their bakery business in March in the Clifton Park Center Mall.
She said the franchise does demographic studies and helps select the locations.
In Albany, we renovated an existing space and in Clifton Park we moved into a brand new space. We looked into opening one because there were none in New York We are aiming for Saratoga next, said Gleason.
Gleason said they worked with a franchise approved architect to give the bakeries the same look and feel, with the layout in each bakery being very similar. The locations also have consistent cake size options and flavors.
We have cute retail samples and cake displays. We carry four sizes of cake, our smaller bundtinis, which come by the dozen, our individual bundtlets, and our eight- and 10-inch cakes, she said.
The most popular flavors, Gleason said, are chocolate chip and white chocolate raspberry.
They make cakes for any size event including fundraisers, weddings, showers and birthdays.

When did you start your business and why?We started our business in September of 2017 as the first Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery in New York State. We tried the cake and loved the product so much we decided to open our own store with The Anderson Group on Wolf Road in Colonie, NY.

She grew up loving to bake and got a culinary degree at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. She worked in catering, then in event sales and management, spending time with renowned chef Tom Colicchio in his Riverpark restaurant/event space. I love the individual little bunt cakes. They make great gifts for a friend or colleague. They are tasty and always look great!! They are a little pricey though.

New Bakery Opens On Wolf Road
When Melissa Gleason began her professional career, she was a business analyst for ADT Security before transitioning to the New York State Department of Criminal Justice. Then, after a decade of being a stay-at-home mom, Gleason decided to get down to business her own business.
Now the owner/operator of New York states first and only Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise, located at 110 Wolf Road in Albany, Gleason says shes excited about the opportunity the future holds. She also says the decision to buy and operate a franchise location has been a labor of love and an exercise in patience.
The fact is, just a few short years ago, Gleason wasnt aware of Nothing Bundt Cakes. That is, until her in-laws in Baton Rouge, Louisiana told her about it. Her husbands family loved the cakes so much that they shipped one to her home in Clifton Park so they could try it. Her family loved it, and Gleason began doing some research. She says she thought about opening a franchise for a year, then took two years to get paperwork and other logistics in place.
I saw there wasnt a franchise in New York. Ours is the first one and its a test market, Gleason says. Down south and out west, Nothing Bundt Cakes franchises have lines out the doors. People know the brand and the reputation is there.
She says people who moved here from the south, California and Texas have already called and emailed her asking when the Albany location is open.

I have been here in Clifton Park a few times both for a full size cake and the mini ones. The counter girls are absolutely lovely and very sweet. Another thing I have noted is that my granddaughters also frequent this shop with positive experiences. Sometimes shops dont treat teenagers as nicely as their older customers but this is not the case in your store. And your cakes are delicious!!
